Which position is right for me?

If you have a desire to work with children directly, then either the Preschool Literacy Tutor or Elementary Literacy Tutor positions are right for you. The main difference between those two positions is the age group targeted. In addition, Preschool Literacy Tutors generally work with small and large groups, mostly within the classroom environment, whereas Elementary Literacy Tutors work primarily one on one with students, outside of the classroom. The Professional Corps Preschool Literacy Tutor position is for employees at a Reading Corps site who want to incorporate the Reading Corps model into their current jobs. If you are interested in being involved in education but are less drawn to direct service with children, the Volunteer Coordinator position may be a good fit.
